Dinah Chelagat holds a Diploma in Nursing and a post-basic Diploma in Midwifery from Kenya Medical Training College, an MA in Family Planning Program Management from the University of Exeter (1992), an MPH from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (1999), and a PhD in Nursing/Midwifery from the University of the Free State (2015). She joined Moi University's College of Health Sciences in 1994 and now serves as Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
